Great day in the forest! a really nice to see more local people enjoying their own backyard. The tourism potentials for this area are endless, including bush walks, guided bird watching (which is HUGE in the UK, and a completely untapped market here), plants gazing and wilderness photography. The Upper Florentine has long been recognised as having the same values as the neighbouring World Heritage Area. When will our governments - both state and federal get in to their heads that the trees have soooo much more value standing up than lying down.
