Senator's surprise visit

POLITICAL interest in the Willow Court historic site remains strong, despite the dithering of the Derwent Valley Council. Mayor Martyn Evans and Deputy Mayor Craig Farrell recently welcomed Greens Senator Christine Milne to the site, accompanied by representatives of the National Trust and the Tasmanian Heritage Council. Councillor Damian Bester is awaiting an answer as to why no other councillors were not notified of the important visit. The image below is borrowed from Senator Milne's website.
