Bridge stuck again

THERE are reports that the lift span of the Bridgewater Bridge failed again yesterday - a week after it famously failed to lift to for the ferry Cartela, which was forced to abandon its run to the Derwent Valley Autumn Festival.

  1. "These are not major problems..." - DIER

Funny, I would think anything that stopped the bridge lift performing it's intended function would be counted a major problem. Perhaps this attitude is the reason the bridge doesn't work properly. It's just a minor piece of infrastructure and not worth much of an effort.
