A big weekend in sports radio

FOLLOWING our first Derwent Valley Sports Wrap segment on Tyga 98.9FM last Saturday morning, Ben Shaw and I would like to say a big thank you to all our listeners and the people from various sporting clubs who supplied scores and info for the show. Thanks also to Mathew Smith for coming on as our first guest interview.

After the nerves had gone, we both settled in very well - so much so that we went over time by half an hour. During the lead-up to the show many predicted this was going to happen anyway! We would also like to thank station manager Rozzie Chapman who has been of great assistance in setting up the segment.

This weekend we will have more scores, games coming up, a little chit chat or a lot, an interview with a lovely lady from the women's netball and much more, so join him "Shawry" and me "Gleeso" this Saturday from 8am til whenever on Tyga 98.9FM.
