UNDER 14: North Hobart 13.7 (95) d New Norfolk 1.3 (9) at Tynwald Park. Goals - NN: Wade Lockley. Best - NN: Connor Rowbottom, Brandon Higgins, Cooper Triffitt, Joshua Farrow, Connor Salter, Patrick Vout. Returning from the school holiday break, New Norfolk came up against North Hobart from A Division. North played a better style of run-on football and although the New Norfolk boys tried hard all game they could not get on top of  their opponents. Our backline which was led well by Connor Rowbottom was under constant pressure. Regardless of the result it was a good experience for our boys to play a team from a higher division. Next game: v Sandy Bay at Tynwald Park, Sunday at 11am.

UNDER 15: Had the bye. Next game: v Sandy Bay Blue at Tynwald Park, Sunday at 12.30. This will be Joshua Challenger's 100th game.

UNDER 16: New Norfolk 8.17 (65) d Kingborough Tigers 5.8 (38) at Tynwald Park. Goals - NN: Dylan Pearce 3, Brandon King 2, Tyron Rainbird 2, Cody Neads; Best: Brandon King, James Webb, Aiden Pearton, Josh Berry, Jordan Hayden, Daniel Coppleman. All the U/16s players and parents congratulate Jordan Hayden on playing with the NNDFC senior team in their win over Lindisfarne on Saturday. Jordan had been was selected senior coach Mathew Smith during the week to play his first senior game. He put in a great effort for the Eagles and the whole team is very proud of him. Next game: v Glenorchy at KGV Oval, Glenorchy, Sunday at 9am.
