Saturday match preview

Southern Football League match preview
Round 4

Cygnet v New Norfolk at Cygnet Oval tomorrow (Saturday) 2pm

By BEN HARRISON
CYGNET returns home to look for a more committed performance against a rampaging New Norfolk in Round 4 this weekend. Coach Gavin Quirk will struggle to find positives from last weekend's Brighton game to work with tomorrow and most of the Cygnet players will have to really dig deep to prepare for what could be a long day if they allow New Norfolk’s Caden Wilson and Zeke Gardam to continue to kick goals with ease as was the case last week against Hobart.

SFL leading goal-kicker and New Norfolk coach Caden Wilson will be the prime mover to watch in this game and the Cygnet midfield will need to restrict the in-form Josh Clifford on the wing or the game could once again get away from the men from the Port very quickly.

New Norfolk will prove too strong in the end.

Prediction: New Norfolk by 55 points.

Form player to watch: Josh Clifford (New Norfolk).
