Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Maydena meeting

A SUCCESSFUL year's operations were reported at the annual general meeting of the Maydena Community Association last month. President and secretary Lynne Graham was returned to both positions. Treasurer Derek Whitwell and public officer Tim Parkes were also returned. Jacki Van Beukering was elected to the position of vice president. The association meets at the Maydena Online Access Centre at 6.30pm on the first Monday of the month.

    After a "A SUCCESSFUL year's operations" hopefully that means the public pool will be opened this year and managed in a people friendly way.
