Site works signal McDonald's start

PRELIMINARY work has started this week on the construction of a McDonald's Restaurant in New Norfolk. Workers have erected a fence around the building site at the corner of Burnett and George Sts, reducing the capacity of the Woolworths supermarket car park.

  1. Everyone goes oh yay cheap crap food but they do not think think of the consequences for the community. They will say how good it will be for the town more jobs for the kids but they will not work. And in the end we have a town that one would feel safe going out at night time cause of the bogans running amuck!

  2. You can't blame Maccas for extra "bogans" running the streets at night, seems more like a family, police and community issue. Its too easy to blame Maccas for young people running the streets
