Southern footy kicks off this Saturday

SOUTHERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE

THE first round of the home and away roster for 2016 sees Cygnet host New Norfolk in the Huon Valley while Sorell welcomes the reigning premier Claremont at Pembroke Park, Brighton travels to the TCA Ground to play Hobart, and Dodges Ferry will open the gates at Shark Park to take on Huonville Lions. Lindisfarne has the bye and an extra week to prepare for its first game.

The roster season will be completed after 21 rounds, when the final five will play off in a finals series for the right to play on that one day in September when the Grand Final will be held at North Hobart Oval on Saturday, September 24. The Preliminary Final will be held at the same venue the weekend prior, on Sunday, September 18.
