Next Willow Court forum on Monday night

THE promised follow-up to the recent community forum on Willow Court will be held tomorrow (Monday) at 7pm in the Derwent Valley Council social rooms. The recently-established Willow Court Community Forum will hold another of its unadvertised meetings in the morning, to prepare for the forum.

  1. I hope that the people that keep commenting on the Willow Court Working Party meetings not be advertised or invites not being sent out to the wider community will raise this at tonight’s meeting so that it can be addressed once and for all.

  2. Although it is nice that people put their name down for this working party to give their time and effort to help move forward from a dreadful position wholly created by Valley Vision and Council, it is and never was a properly constituted group. It is just a bunch of people who believed that they could contribute to a moving forward process and there have been a number of people who have dropped out, others who have joined in, so it would be heaps better if the group made their meetings known and let anyone who felt they had an idea contribute - don't do the Council thing and make everything a closed shop workshop!
