Reject Shop officially opened

TWENTY jobs had been created through last week's opening of the Reject Shop's 14th Tasmanian branch at New Norfolk, managing director Chris Bryce said. The shop was officially opened at 8.30am on May 9 by store manager Tanya Barker and area manager John Bishton.

The new store is located in the former Chickenfeed premises at 27-29 High St. It occupies a space of 800m2 and is the Reject Shop’s 273rd store nationally. The firm has become Australia's largest discount variety retailer.

“We are delighted to open our new store at New Norfolk and look forward to providing our local customers with great products, great value and a great shopping experience every time they visit our store,” Mr Bryce said. Store manager Tanya Barker was excited to welcome customers in to the new branch to check out the selection of low-price every day products and bargains on a wide range of discount variety items.

“Our New Norfolk customers will find the Reject Shop is a great place to save money on a huge range of products including homewares, kitchenware, hardware, pet care, household cleaning products, toiletries and cosmetics," Tanya Barker said. “We’re always bringing in new products at consistently low prices and customers will find many of their favourite brands on our shelves as well. We’re excited to be a part of the New Norfolk community and proud to provide jobs for 20 local people.”
