ROUND 13 PREVIEWS

Cygnet v New Norfolk
CYGNET is at home this week but faces a massive task taking on the top-placed New Norfolk in what looks like a very one sided affair. Cygnet was gallant in defeat last weekend against the East Coast Bombers away from home and with the right attitude and the confidence to try some possession football it could frustrate its highly fancied opposition.

The Eagles were big winners away from home against Brighton last weekend and have showed in recent weeks their key playmakers especially up forward are all starting to get into top form. They have dominated other sides and more importantly have shown hunger to record big victories and I don’t think they will show any mercy to last-placed Cygnet.

Cygnet might have to restructure its game style and try to push some bigger players back behind the ball to try to slow down New Norfolk's marking and goal scoring ability. The Eagles will be far too strong all over the ground and the only real interest will be the winning margin.

Let’s hope Cygnet puts up a good fight as there are more wins in store for the Port this season if they can continue to improve.

Hobart v Claremont
HOBART is at home the TCA for a second week in a row but it faces an enormous task to win a fourth game of the season when it takes on second-placed Claremont. You would expect the young Tigers to flood the backline and try to hold up play to frustrate their opponents but the Magpies have too much class and experience, with a big victory cementing their position at second on the ladder.

Brighton v Dodges Ferry 
BRIGHTON is back at home to take on fifth-placed  Dodges Ferry in what could be a danger game for the visiting Sharks. Brighton plays its home ground Pontville Oval really well and you would expect coach Curran to have really worked his troops hard on the track this week but the experience and strength of the Sharks side should see them get over the line late in the game. To do this they must be at their best against a hungry home side.

Huonville v East Coast 
HUONVILLE is at home for the second week in a row but faces a hard task against the fourth-placed East Coast Bombers. Huonville should be in this game for long periods but the class and strength of the East Coast Bombers should see them record a comfortable victory.

Lindisfarne v Sorell
LINDISFARNE is back at home this weekend to take on an improving Sorell in what could prove to be a danger game as these sides have a strong history of hard fought clashes and a very good rivalry. The Two Blues have too much at stake and should be too strong towards the end of the game, recording their 10th win of the season over a gallant and improving Sorell.
