EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash on the Lyell Highway at New Norfolk. Police advise that the road is blocked in both directions at the Hobart Rd entrance to New Norfolk and motorists should avoid the area if possible.
3.45PM UPDATE: Police advise that the New Norfolk-bound lane of the Lyell Hwy is now open and traffic should be able to get through from Granton. Police now say the incident involved four vehicles but there are not believed to be any serious injuries. Traffic flow remains interrupted.
