Glover wins national challenge

Kieran Glover
LOCAL driver Kieran Glover scored a second national championship earlier today, winning the Formula Vee National Challenge at Symmons Plains. The event marks the 50th anniversary of Formula Vee racing in Australia, with 34 entrants vying for the silverware.

Competing in the 1600cc division, Glover, from Sorell Creek, was racing on home soil for the first time since winning the Australian Formula Vee Championship in Sydney two months ago - the first Tasmanian to do so.

Meanwhile, among the 23-strong field in the 1200cc class was Glover's father, Leon Glover from Molesworth.
