House fire closed Boyer Rd

PART of Boyer Rd was closed  earlier today due to a house fire at Dromedary. Acting Sergeant Scott McKenzie of Tasmania Police said no-one had been injured in the fire, which was reported around 1pm.

Boyer Rd was blocked for about 90 minutes while firefighters brought the blaze under control. Motorists travelling to and from New Norfolk were advised to use the Lyell Hwy. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
