Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Swimming season starts at Bushy Park

THE Bushy Park War Memorial Swimming Pool opens for the summer season today (Wednesday). Lifeguard/caretaker David Dwyer and the pool committee have the popular public facility ready for another year.

The 33m solar-heated outdoor pool will initially be open from 3.15-6pm on weekdays, while on weekends the pool opens at 11am. Facilities include a kiosk and barbecue area.

Entry fees: $3 (ages 17 and over), $1.50 (child or spectator), Under 4s free with parents. Season passes: family $130, child $50, adult $60.
