The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.

A broad trough of low pressure is passing over Tasmania today. Combined with warm temperatures and high humidity the trough is providing favourable conditions for thunderstorm development this afternoon and evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Oatlands, Swansea, Bicheno, Orford, Fingal and Bothwell.
21.6mm was reported in 1 hour at Lake Gairdner Dam.
1-1.5cm hail was reported in Campbell Town around 4:00pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover.
* Avoid driving, walking or riding through flood waters.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.

Concern for missing person last seen at Magra
UPDATE: Police advise that Ms Puriri has been found, safe and well.
EARLIER: POLICE and family hold concerns for the welfare of Honey Karma Atareta Puriri, aged 29, who was last seen in the Magra area on last Saturday afternoon, November 18.
Sergeant Jason Klug said Ms Puriri was described as 160cm tall, of medium build with black long curly hair. "Anyone that may see Honey, or have any information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the New Norfolk Police Station on (03) 6230 2111," Sgt Klug said.

Southern Cricket Association round three results
NEW Norfolk I suffered its first 50-over loss when the side was defeated by St Aidan's by 77 runs at Tynwald Park on Saturday. The visitors, batting first, were all out for 201 from 49.4 overs. In reply New Norfolk was bowled out after 42 overs for 124. With the bat, Jason Rigby top-scored with 24 (two fours). Harry Booth with 20 (two fours) and Seb Wishart 17 (one four) were next best. Earlier with the ball, Nathan Eiszele sent down 9.4 overs to bag 5-26 in a very good display of bowling which include three maidens. Jason Rigby was next best with 2-38 (10).
Second Grade saw Molesworth I go down to Wellington by 18 runs at Boyer Oval on Saturday. The visitors had first knock, making 7-200 off their 50 overs. In the run chase, Molesworth gave it a good crack, but fell short, bowled out for 182 off 39 overs. Brad Coppleman top-scored with 43, hitting two fours and four sixes. Keeper Ryan Banks-Smith made 26 (three fours), Daniel Coppleman 21 (two fours) and Jye Lester remained 19no with three fours. Captain Brayden Hodge with 2-37 (9) and Brad Coppleman with 1-27 (10) were the best of the bowlers.
In the other Second Grade match, Gretna I was easily beaten by Rokeby at Clarendon Vale. Batting first, Gretna was bowled out for 101 off 39 overs. Captain Ben Rainbird top-scored with 32 (six fours), while opener Craig Cunningham made 20. In reply, Rokeby chased down the runs off just 10.2 overs, finishing 1-102 . Corey Ransley was the wicket taker with 1-29 (5).
Third Grade saw New Norfolk II lose its first 50-over match when the side went down to Marquis Tigers by seven wickets at Ogilvie High School. The Red Caps batted first and made just 89 after being bowled out after 34.2 overs. In reply the home team chased down the runs, finishing with 3-93 off 29 overs. With the bat, Aaron Triffitt top-scored with 24 (four fours). Nathan Rice with 19 (two fours) and Stewart Rice on 13 (three fours) were the other main scores. With the ball, Stewart Rice took 2-19 off 10 overs and Aaron Triffitt 1-39 off four overs. Josh Rowlands didn’t take a wicket but finished with tight figures of 0-6 from six overs, including three maidens.
In Fourth Grade Gretna II had a good win over Weily Park by seven wickets at Weily Park on Sunday. Winning the toss and batting, the home side was dismissed for 120 from 37.5 overs. All the Gretna bowlers did well. Josh Whitford-Marriott with 3-8 (2.5) and Matthew Coulson with 3-42 (10) did the major damage, while opener Cameron Emery got 2-15 (10). Spinner Aaron Browning, who has bowled well of late, was extremely tight with great figures of 1-7 (5) while Mathew Burns with 1-23 (4) was the other bowler to take a wicket. In reply, Gretna had little trouble chasing down the target, finishing 3-121 off 18.1 overs. Opener and captain for the day Jordan Hastie led from the front with a unbeaten 45, including nine fours. Josh Whitford-Marriott made it a good day with 30 (six fours), while other opener Matthew Coulson made 21 (three fours, one six). Gretna legend Joey Hack filled in on Sunday in what was a highlight of the day. With club’s games record going back to 1977-78, Hack has now played 400 games for Gretna. He first started playing in the early '70s and would have around 500 games all up. Not bad for a bloke who is just shy of his 59th birthday. Well done Joey, you sure have given your all for the Gretna Cricket Club and I hear you took two good catches — just shows you have still got it. Also well done to Mathew Perotti on playing his 50th club game for Gretna in round two.
Playing at Bagdad, Bothwell I made it three wins in a row with a seven-wicket win over Bagdad. The home team having first dig and was bowled out for 137 off 37.2 overs. In the run chase, the Bucks got the job done with little fuss, finishing on 31138 from 22.1 overs. Opener Tyler White made a fine 63 which included a game high 10 fours. White was well supported by Josh Eyles who remained 41no, including three fours and one six. Earlier with the ball, opener Nathan White was on song taking 4-35 from his 10 overs. Brock Nichols was also among the wickets with 3-23 off 7.2 overs. Josh Eyles had a good day all round, taking 1-23 (6), while Matthew Eyles on 1-29 (10) and Nathan Eyles with 1-16 (4) were the other wicket takers.
Bushy Park went down to St Aidan's by six wickets at Cambridge Oval in the other Fourth Grade match. Batting first, Bushy Park was bowled out for the low score of 91 of 21.5 overs. Mitchell Crosswell top-scored with 31 and Shaun Fenton was next with 10. The home side chased down the target off 19.5 overs, finishing at 4-93. Of the Park’s bowlers, captain Troy Smith took 1-10 (3). Michell Crosswell 1-14 (4) and Allan Van Luxembourg took 1-20 (3). There was one run out.
Seventh Grade saw New Norfolk III defeat cross-town rivals Molesworth by six wickets at Tynwald Park. Batting first, Molesworth was kept in check by some good bowling by the Red Caps to be all out for just 54 off 21.4 overs. Stuart Muir sent down 10 overs to take 4-16 in an excellent spell and Mitchell Rice, who took 3-9 off just 3.4 overs, was equally as good. Cody Morgan-Coleman on 1-23 (7) and David Mitchelmore on 1-3 (1) were the other wicket-takers. Jack Evans with 14 was his team’s top scorer. In reply, the home team chased down the target off 14.1 overs, finishing on 4-55 . Jye Bearman on 9no (two fours) and Mitchell also on nine (one four) were the top scorers. There were 18 extras. All four Molesworth bowlers tried hard and snared a wicket each, with Jeremy Nichols on 1-14 (6) and captain Sam Triffitt 1-6 (3) fairing the best of the attack.

Opener and captain Anthony White top-scored with 37 while Adam Clark and Brad Eyles made 25 each and Simon Eyles 15. Earlier with the ball for the Bucks, Brad Eyles bowled 5.1 overs to finish with 4-15 in a great spell, while Stuart Eyles also did well taking 3-21 (10). Anthony White on 2-20 (7) and Simon with 1-36 (9) were the other wicket-takers.

High St fences will be back in black

"During the next three months, the familiar but faded blue powder-coated feature railings which line the footpaths of High St will be removed, damaged items repaired and each will receive a smart new coat of paint," Ms Gower-Bradley said.
Fifteen-year-old fence panels and bollards have been removed from two street corners this week and will be returned once they have been repaired and/or repainted. The process will be repeated until the upgrade is completed. "The paint colour chosen, Hammertone Black, reflects a modern aesthetic and will complement the railings and wider streetscape with a modern, textured look," Ms Gower-Bradley said.
Additional street banner poles will be installed in the CBD in the new few months and the exiting poles will be repainted. High-pressure cleaning of the central business district footpaths is also being done this month.
"Local sheet metal business owner Lawrence Williams has been contracted to undertake the painting and repair work on Council’s behalf," Ms Gower-Bradley said. "It’s a return to the site for Lawrence, who installed the original railings."
Mayor Martyn Evans said the improvements would be completed by the end of summer. “The upgraded infrastructure on High St will help revitalise the main centre of New Norfolk," Councillor Evans said.
