The Under 15s got of to a very slow start at New Town on Sunday with North Hobart kicking six goals and five behinds to New Norfolk's two goals and one point for the first term. After a rev up by coach Josh Clifford at quarter time, the young Eagles applied great pressure and from here there was no stopping them. In the second term they kept the Demons scoreless, while they kicked 3.6 themselves. After the half-time break the Eagles again dominated, kicking a further eight goals to four in the second half to run out winners by 27 points. Ryan Wakefield was best on ground, his dashing speed and skills all over the ground were just terrific. Jordan Eiszele was just as good in first game this season after a major foot injury. His skills were as good as ever and so was his accuracy, kicking four goals for the game. Welcome back mate. Congratulations to Nathan Wakefield who played very well in his 50th game, well done cobber. Tomorrow's game against Lindisfarne has been won by forfeit. Team photos will now be taken next weekend.
