Luke Joseph at Tyga FM earlier |
The former Glenora District High School student has played 97 reserves matches for the Eagles and is a loyal stalwart of the club.
With a total of 297 games so far, Joseph is in reach of the record of the most games played for the New Norfolk District Football Club, which is currently held by Michael Eiszele with his tally of 334. Interestingly, Eiszele broke the record held by his late uncle, "Boy" Wilton.
Tune in to Shawry and Gleeso's Derwent Valley Weekend Sports Wrap each Saturday from 8-9am on Tyga FM or listen online at tygafm.org.au. Next weekend the pair hope to broadcast an interview with Brendan Fevola on his return to New Norfolk for his second match with the Eagles.
- Today's issue of the Mercury has an article on Joseph playing his 200th senior game along with Michael Thompson who is playing his 150th. Read it here.
