NEW Norfolk defeated Kingborough Gold at North Hobart this afternoon to take out the Youth League Under-16B grand final.

Reporting on Facebook throughout the match, junior football coach Josh Walsh said the young Eagles had clearly had their Weetbix today and had gone hard at the ball.

The final quarter was a close one. With just one minute left on the clock Reece Williams goaled from 35 metres out and extended New Norfolk's lead to nine points. This was followed-up by Jesse Morgan who slotted one through after the siren, taking the winning margin to 15 points.
