Road Weather Alert
for the Upper Derwent Valley, Western, Central Plateau, Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts
Issued at 9:59pm on Friday 28 August 2015.
Snow covered roads above 300 metres will make driving conditions dangerous during Friday and early Saturday morning in parts of the Western, Central Plateau, Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts.
For information on any road closures, please contact your local council or the Police.
The next alert will be issued by 5am Saturday.
Wind Warnings for Saturday 29 August
Strong Wind Warning for the following areas: Derwent Estuary, Frederick Henry Bay and Norfolk Bay, Storm Bay, Channel, Far North West Coast, Central North Coast, Banks Strait and Franklin Sound and Central West Coast
