Smoke alert continues

Smoke Alert For Greater Hobart and Southern areas

There are several bushfires along the West Coast causing a general smoke haze in Hobart and surrounding areas as well as further to the south of the state.

There is no threat to communities.

There may be smoke and ash from this fire visible around Greater Hobart and Southern areas.

What to do:

People travelling in the area should exercise caution if driving in smoke. Turn on your headlights and drive slowly.
