Caltex revamp nears its end

MORE than a year after it started, the redevelopment of New Norfolk's Caltex petrol station is nearing its completion.

It is expected that the business will close for several hours today while the retail area is transferred back into the enlarged and refurbished building on the corner of Montagu and Burnett Sts.

Since early August the business has operated from a temporary site office while the original shop and its two adjoining service bays were converted into a large new area which will feature a convenience store, takeaway and coffee bar.
