Police investigate dog attack

POLICE are investigating an alleged incident where a dog was attacked by two other dogs in New Norfolk this morning. At about 9am, a man was walking his two dogs at the foot of the hill leading up to Turriff Lodge from the wetlands.

A woman described as being in her 60s wearing jeans and a blue/grey jumper approached the man with her two dogs, which were not on leads.

These dogs - said to be a ginger mastiff and a blue heeler - allegedly attacked the man's fox terrier-cross, causing extensive injuries.
