SFL Round 3 preview: Eagles v Eagles

New Norfolk v Sorell at Boyer Oval tomorrow

THE New Norfolk Eagles host the Sorell Eagles at Boyer Oval this weekend.

New Norfolk's senior side will be looking to get on the winners list tomorrow, having lost to Lindisfarne and  Claremont in the first two rounds. Despite the loss, Hansen, Horne, Heron, Burgess and Daly had good games last week against the Magpies.

Sorell has started with a much-improved team this season, with a win in round one and a three-goal loss last weekend to Cygnet. Daniel Chapman has been among the best in the first two games and has had good support from some of the other younger players in the team.

Whatever the result tomorrow, Eagles a sure winner here!

The other games in this round are Cygnet v Huonville, Brighton v Hobart, and Claremont v Lindisfarne. The league has advised that all men's games this weekend will begin 30 minutes earlier than usual.
