Box Hill water outage

ABOUT 20 properties on the outskirts of New Norfolk will be without water between 9am and 3pm this Monday, October 8. TasWater has announced that it is installing a new flow meter, which will affect properties on the Fenton Line/Box Hill Reservoir at New Norfolk.

Customers are advised to store sufficient quantities of water for personal use during this period. The company recommends that once water is restored, customers should run a tap until water is clear, to remove any sediment, cloudiness or air in the pipes. Anyone continuing to experience discoloured water after running their taps sohuld contact TasWater.
