Final warning on minor flooding

FINAL WARNING

MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR LOWER RIVER DERWENT

Issued at 10:42am on Tuesday 15 October 2013 
by the Bureau of Meteorology, Hobart

Flood Warning Number: 5

The minor flood warning for the lower River Derwent has now been finalised.
River levels below Meadowbank dam remain high and are currently below the minor flood level and easing slowly.
Most storages in the Derwent system are full with many dams on spill.
Rainfall forecast across the Derwent catchment over the next few days is expected to produce renewed rises to the minor flood level by Thursday.

River levels below the Minor flood levels with renewed rises by Thursday.

High river levels from Macquarie Plains to New Norfolk below their minor flood levels with renewed rises on Thursday.

Tyenna River
Currently easing with renewed river rises on wednesday.

Styx River
Currently easing with renewed river rises on wednesday.

New Norfolk
Renewed river level rises about New Norfolk by Thursday.
