Gretna's great support for Crosswell family

Gretna Under 15s coach Bruce Emery, left, with Luke, Debra
and Zac Crosswell.
A FEW weeks back the Gretna Cricket Club held a double wicket fundraising day in aid of the Crosswell family who lost everything in a house fire at Rosegarland back in July. Along with support from the Gretna Green Hotel, the day was a great success.

Debra and Danny Crosswell have twin boys Zachery and Luke who have played with the club's junior teams for the past three seasons and are playing with the Under 15s again this season.

The club has fitted out the boys with new club clothing and replaced their trophies including Zachery's hat-trick trophy from last season. Debra was also presented with a replacement plaque for the one she received for helping with the juniors.

"We are very grateful for what has been done for us, the club is really a great family club and the boys enjoy it here, thank you to everyone," Debra said. The family is rebuilding in the same location and the club wishes them all the best.
