Minor flood warning finalised

FINAL MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR LOWER RIVER DERWENT

Issued at 9:26 am EDT on Saturday 19 October 2013
by the Bureau of Meteorology, Hobart

A Minor Flood Warning for the Lower River Derwent is now finalised.
River levels in the lower reaches of the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam will drop below the minor flood level (4.1 metres) early Saturday afternoon.
The rest of branches and reaches along the River Derwent are below their minor flood levels and easing.
Most storages in the Derwent system are full with many dams currently spilling.
No significant rainfall totals are expected along the weekend.

River levels to continue easing during the weekend.

Below Meadowbank Dam
River levels in the lower reaches of the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam will drop below the minor flood level (4.1 metres) early Saturday afternoon.

River levels to continue easing during the weekend.
