Molesworth motorcyclist killed

A MOLESWORTH man lost his life in a motorcycle crash just south of Bothwell this morning.

"At approximately 11am this morning a fatal single motor cycle crash occurred on Hollow Tree Rd, just south of Bothwell," a police spokesman said.

"Police and Tas Ambulance Service attended and the 57-year-old male driver of the motorcycle from Molesworth was pronounced deceased at the scene," the spokesman said. "No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash."

Condolences to the family and friends of the rider.

MONDAY UPDATE: Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a blue 2004 Kawasaki motorbike which was travelling towards Bothwell around 11am yesterday. Contact police on 131 444.
