Vacancy at the House

THE Derwent Valley Community House is seeking a co-ordinator. An online job advertisement says the role of the house co-ordinator is to provide support and supervision to staff and volunteers as well as develop and manage a range of activities and programs.

Located in Willow Court at New Norfolk, the Derwent Valley Community House provides a range of activities, training, classes and programs as well as leading wider community programs such as the Community Garden, Drive Time, Tree2Sea Boat Building project, Thriving Communities - Healthy Families Outreach program and Eating with Friends.

The co-ordinator position is for 32 hours per week, reporting to the chairman and management committee of Derwent Valley Community House Inc.
