APRIL 10 has been named as the date for the next Derwent Valley Autumn Festival. Derwent Valley mayor Martyn Evans said the organising committee now had a new chairman, David Cranfield.
Councillor Evans said the council had been the event's leading sponsor and supporter since the first festival in 2000 and he was looking forward to assisting the committee wherever possible to ensure the 2016 event was a great success.
