Police seeking burglary witnesses

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three businesses in New Norfolk were burgled in the early hours of this morning. All suffered damaged as a result of the forced entry and a small amount of property was stolen.

"The offender is described as being approximately six foot tall, stocky build, wearing dark clothing and light-coloured shoes. This person may have been walking in the High St area during the early hours of the morning," Constable Sarah Morris said.

Anyone who saw the alleged offender or who has information in relation to these matters is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Constable Morris at Bridgewater CIB on 6268 4103.
