NEARLY 30 candidates have put forward their names in the contest for the seat of Lyons in next month's State Election.
Tasmanian Electoral Commissioner Andrew Hawkey said there would be 26 candidates in the sprawling central electorate, with their names to be announced at noon tomorrow (February 14).
In total there will be 109 people contesting the state's five electoral divisions, down from 126 at the 2014 State Election.
