Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Shape the future of transport in the Derwent Valley

THE Tasmanian Council of Social Service (TasCOSS) is keen to find out how people get around the Derwent Valley, what transport challenges people face, and what opportunities there are to do things differently.

A series of public forums in the area next week will provide an opportunity to hear what TasCOSS has learned so far, add your ideas and be part of the Derwent Valley Transport Action Team

Westerway Community Hall: February 13, 12.30-2.30pm
Maydena Community Hall: February 13, 5-7pm
Ptunarra Child and Family Centre, New Norfolk: February 14, 11am-1pm
Derwent Valley Community House, New Norfolk: February 15, 10am-noon
Derwent Valley PCYC, New Norfolk: February 15, 5.30-7.30pm
