Col's books in demand

IT'S not yet officially launched, but local writer Col Bailey's new book is already selling on eBay. A seller on the online auction site has sold four copies from an apparent stock of seven. Shadow of the Thylacine is described as the tell-all story of Bailey's epic search for the Tasmanian tiger from 1967 to the present day.

The book will be launched next month at the New Norfolk Newsagency, where orders are being taken. The recommended retail price is $29.95. A free preview can be read online here.

Meanwhile another seller is offering a single copy of Bailey's first book, Tiger Tales, for $359 - plus postage.
