Child safety ambassors in town this weekend

CONTINUING in their quest to make all Australia a safer place for children, Queensland child safety ambassadors Denise and Bruce Morcombe are heading south through New South Wales to Victoria and Tasmania this week.

Mr and Mrs Morecombe are embarking on the trip to empower more Australians to educate children and their families through the national day of action "Day for Daniel" on October 25; and to promote the Daniel Morcombe Child Safety Curriculum to all state ministers, education departments and schools across Australia.

The couple will visit the Derwent Valley Child and Family Centre in Blair St, New Norfolk, at 11am this Saturday.
