Under 16s into preliminary final

THE Under 16 Eagles continued on their march towards a flag by defeating Clarence at KGV on Sunday. In warm and blustery conditions which at times made marking difficult, New Norfolk's teamwork and work rate kept them ahead of their opposition throughout the game. Generally it was a great team effort with all players contributing throughout the game.

This weekend's game is against Sorell who have so far defeated New Norfolk on both occasions this year. If the Eagles continue to play as they are, another victory will see the boys from the Derwent Valley go through to a place in a grand final.

Congratulations to Joshua Ransley (pictured) who played his 100th game last weekend and kicked a great roving goal.
