New Norfolk wins 25th grand final

New Norfolk 15.15 (105) has defeated Claremont 9.8 (62) in today's SFL grand final at KGV Park, Glenorchy, reports Wade Gleeson from the ground.

William Leitch Medallist and Huon Valley News player of the year Nathan Ross added to his trophy haul, winning the Gorringe-Martyn Medal for best on ground in the grand final.

Many thanks to Wade Gleeson for his updates and photos throughout the day. Based on Wade's historical research, today's win is the 25th senior premiership since the club was established in 1878.

  1. Leigh Post announced the night after the grand final that he is going to play on another year noting he has retired 5 times previoulsy.
