Tree cuts power in New Norfolk

A TREE resting on powerlines has cut the electricity supply of about 1200 customers in New Norfolk, TasNetworks has reported via Twitter. Repair crews are on the way but as of 2.20pm the restoration time is yet to be advised.

2.55PM UPDATE: Power now restored to New Norfolk area.
