Valley cricketers pay their respects

number at their rooms yesterday.
TRIBUTES have been paid to former Australian test cricketer Phillip Hughes at local matches this weekend, following the 25-year-old's untimely death last week.

NSW-born Hughes was fatally injured when struck by a cricket ball during a Sheffield Shield match on Tuesday and died two days later.

Individual players have also honoured Hughes in line with the social media tribute dubbed "#putoutyourbats." Thanks to Wade Gleeson for collecting these images.
