Weekend weather warnings continue

Road Weather Alert for Tasmania
for Western and Central Plateau forecast districts

Issued at 10:17am on Sunday 2 November 2014.
Snow covered roads above 400 metres will make driving conditions dangerous during Sunday in parts of the Western and Central Plateau forecast districts.
For information on any road closures, please contact your local council or the Police.

Warning to Sheep Graziers
for the East Coast, Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley, South East, Furneaux Islands and North West Coast forecast districts

Issued at 10:17am on Sunday 2 November 2014.
Sheep Graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and strong southwesterly winds are expected during Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Upper Derwent Valley forecast district and parts of the Midlands, South East, Furneaux Islands, North West Coast and East Coast forecast districts. There is a high risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
The warning to sheep graziers for the Central North and North East forecast districts and parts of the King Island forecast district has been cancelled.

Bush Walkers Weather Alert
for the Western and Central Plateau forecast districts

Issued at 10:17 am EDT on Sunday 2 November 2014.
Bush walkers are advised that snow as low as 500 metres is expected during Sunday, although conditions will improve during the day. These hazardous conditions are expected to occur in parts of the Western and Central Plateau forecast districts.

Derwent Estuary, Frederick Henry Bay and Norfolk Bay, Storm Bay, Channel, Far North West Coast, Central North Coast, Banks Strait and Franklin Sound, East of Flinders Island, South West Coast and Central West Coast
Small Craft Alert for the following areas:
Central Plateau Lakes and South West Lakes
