THE fire brigade has made quick work of a chimney fire at the Bush Inn Hotel this evening. Reported at 6.45pm, the Montagu St incident was closed at 7.14pm. Three fire units are reported to have responded, including two heavy tankers.
8.30PM UPDATE: The fire brigade was also called out to an incident at the New Norfolk Hotel in High St just before 8pm. It is now reported as having been contained.
