MULTIPLE resources are being dispatched to a vegetation fire at Molesworth. The fire was reported at 1pm and as of 1.15pm a medium tanker from the Tasmania Fire Service has arrived.
Further units including a light tanker, heavy tanker and a personnel carrier have been directed to the incident off Molesworth Rd.
Today is a day of Total Fire Ban in the state's south, north and the Bass Strait islands.
1.25PM UPDATE: The vegetation fire is now reported to have been contained.
