Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Big weekend for junior football club

THE New Norfolk Junior Football Club has a big weekend coming up with its best and fairest counts and trophy presentations on Friday night and the annual player and parent/guardian breakfast the following morning.

The best and fairest event will be held at the New Norfolk District Football Clubrooms on Friday from 6pm for a 6.30 start. Counts will be held for the Under 12 boys, Under 13 girls, Under 14 boys and Under 17 girls. Supper will be provided with a $5 cover charge for adults (accompanied children admitted free).

The club will hold its longstanding annual player and parent/guardian breakfast at the NNDFC clubrooms on Saturday for all players from the Under 8s through to Under 17s. This will be held from 7.30am for an 8am start. Accompanied children will be admitted free and a $5 cover charge applies for adults.
