Banks-Smith who had made 515 runs and taken 29 wickets to that point, won on 17 votes, two clear of Fifth Grade captain Nathan Heron who was runner-up on 15 votes.
Lisa East took out the women’s best and fairest award. East, who did well with the bat this season, made 174 runs from seven matches won, with 15 votes, four clear of Amity Booth on 11.
