COVID-19 is a contagious viral infection that has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation. It causes mild respiratory illness in most people but can have potentially life-threatening complications in a small number of people.
State and federal governments have this week introduced a range of measures aimed at slowing the progression of the outbreak in Australia and limit the burden on the health system by taking measures to reduce transmission.
Guidelines, procedures, policies 🤣🤣🤣

Transmission of COVID-19 is through contact with respiratory droplets containing the virus, produced when an infectious person coughs or sneezes. Individual behaviour is the key to containing the spread of the virus, and involves taking personal responsibility for measures, such as regular hygiene practices, early self-isolation and personal social distancing.
Social distancing is one of the key measures currently being used to limit the transmission of COVID-19. One way this can be achieved is by keeping a healthy distance of 1.5 metres between people when gathered, as demonstrated by the SES members tonight.
