SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
for DAMAGING WIND, HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONES
For people in the East Coast and Midlands Forecast Districts.
Issued at 2.50pm Friday, 9 November 2012.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Campbell Town, Oatlands, Ross, St Helens, Swansea and Orford.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Upper Derwent Valley and South East districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
