Twenty20 cricket

NEW Norfolk keeps rolling on in the Twenty20 format, defeating Old Beach by 12 runs on November 20. Jake King again got amongst the runs as did Morgan and Heron. All New Norfolk bowlers did their bit, with Stewart Rice being the best with 2 for 10. If New Norfolk defeat St Aidans next week they will book themselves a spot in the grand final. Let's hope they can - it would be great to see the Red Caps take the title, but I guess it's  best to take it one mtach at a time.

Scores - New Norfolk 5 for 145 off 50 overs (12 extras) d Old Beach 10 for 133 off 19.3 overs (8 extras) at Old Beach. New Norfolk batting: Jake King 36, Ashley Morgan 31, Rohan Heron 29, Leigh Berry 28no.
New Norfolk bowling: Stewart Rice 2-10 (2.3), Josh Dykes 2-16 (4), Josh Rowlands 2-23 (4), Graeme Rowlands 1-20 (4), Josh Walsh (1-23 (2), Rohan Heron 1-23 (3).

Semi final - Thursday, December 6 at 5.30pm.
