Youth league cricket

IN a great team effort the Gretna Under 15s had a big win over St Anne's at Gretna on Sunday. Gretna had first hit, making the big total of 5 for 263 off their 40 overs. Nathan Eyles topped scored with an excellent 105 not out. Nathan was a pleasure to watch, hitting 13 boundaries all over the ground. Reece Williams again batted patiently, making 41, as did Josh Whitford-Marriott
with 31. Captain Daniel Browning made a handy 24. In reply St Anne's were bowled out for 19 runs in just 8.3 overs. Jamie Davidson was the main destroyer with 3-1 as was Josh Farrow taking 3-4 while Jake Campbell and Nick Wakefield got a wicket each.

UNDER 13 - Gretna defeated Glenorchy on forfeit.
Next match v Molesworth Green at Boyer Oval on Sunday at 9am.

UNDER 15 - Gretna 5 for 263 off 40 overs defeated St Annes 9 for 19 off 8.3 overs at Gretna.
Gretna - batting: Nathan Eyles 105no (13 4s), Reece Williams 41, Josh Whitford-Marriott 31, Daniel Browning 24 (three 4s), Brodie Gleeson 7 (one 4). Gretna - bowling: Jamie Davidson 3-1 (2), Josh Farrow 3-4 (2), Jake Campbell 1-11 (2), Nick Wakefield 1-1 (0.3), Luke Crosswell 0-2 (2). 
Next match v Kingborough at Gretna on Sunday at 12.30pm.

Molesworth and New Norfolk results not received.
